The Yuma Airshow is a fun way to get involved. While you are working you can feel, hear, and see the excitement all around you. We are looking for patrons to volunteer their time to work at the Airshow. We need volunteers to be available for a minimum of 4 hours. Volunteers are the key component to a successful event, and we invite you to take part in bringing the best possible Yuma Airshow to the Yuma Community.
Requirements
The ability to pass a background check in order to obtain installation access. Attend mandatory Volunteer Training in order to execute all duties as assigned.
Depending on the station that you are assigned to you may be required to lift or move items. For example — cases of water, ice, tables, chairs, etc. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to perform duties in the outdoors.
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, speak respectfully to each other and our air show patrons. We ask that you arrive on time, be conscientious and helpful.
Age: Minimum 18 years and older.

Assigned Areas
You may be assigned to one of the following areas for your volunteer service.
Grandstands & Covered Seating
Volunteers assigned to man one of the three entrances will either be scanning tickets, applying wrist bands or stamps, passing out brochures and/or watching the reentry. Volunteers assigned to covered seating will be stationed in the area where they will direct patrons to their correct seating and distribute bottled water.
Corporate Hospitality Chalet Area
Volunteers are needed in multiple areas as runners and to provide security for access to the chalets. Volunteers interact closely with Airshow patrons as well as experience another level of service provided. This area can be very fast-paced, with a lot of moving parts, and we are looking for people who are enthusiastic, and ready to move quickly.
Information Booth
Volunteers are needed to distribute event brochures at public entrance points, guide patrons to areas of interest, answer questions regarding shuttle/bus schedule, ticketing information and maintain lost and found area.
